Jeff Reed developed a love for agriculture growing up with the family business in Sherman, New York. Auction barns, dairy barns, and heifer feedlots are just a sampling of the numerous agricultural businesses the Reed Family owned and operated. Jeff began working at the ripe age of ten and has been going strong ever since.
In 1982, Jeff left New York and re-located to Bell, Florida. Jeff began working at North Florida Holsteins where he served as an outside manager keeping dairy lots clean, maintaining equipment, and managing crop production and harvest. It was during his employment at North Florida Holsteins, that he met and developed a business relationship with David Sumrall. He retained his position until 1993, at which time he chose to return to the family business.
Jeff was reunited with David in February 1996, when he was offered the position of Outside Manager for the Bell and Branford Farms. Today, Jeff manages all crop production and harvest, coordinates all programs related to waste removal, and lends his expertise to all things outside.
Jeff and his wife Whitney currently reside in Bell, Florida.
